Today is the last day a regular season game will ever be played at Busch Stadium. All of the so long fan-fare has been extremely enjoyable to watch also. I think its sad because that stadium has been there for as long as I can remember... a lot of people say that. What would be a really nice send off for the old stadium is if we win today against the Reds, thus marking us as the only team since 1941-44 to have back to back 100 game winning seasons. And a really great one since we have home field advantage in the playoffs, would be to bring the pennent home for the NL Championship, and then to bring the World Series back to Busch one last time. I'm hoping that I will get to go to the new ballpark to see a game at least once, but all things considered I dunno about that one... we'll see.
Anyway, will be channel flipping between the Rams/Giants game, and the Cards/Reds game. Its a bitch that both are being played so close together, but I just gotta be a score whore today ;P Pizza sounds good for today's events also, but I dunno if my cheap little ass wants to order pizza or not ;P Eh, its early yet.
Bout it I guess, TA!
