Oh god was it ever hot today. It's -been- hot, but today it just felt worse than it has so far this summer. Yes, once again, I know that there are many places in this country alone that make my version of "hot" seem like "mild warming sensation," but mid-90s is stifling for me. Especially when I have to walk two miles in it. I can definitely say I'm in passable health because I can walk 2 miles, including hills, in this awful heat without passing out. =D Actually, that may no longer be something I have to face daily. A really nice woman I work with is bringing me a bicycle on Thursday! Apparently, she bought it for her son a couple Christmases ago, as everyone in her family likes to ride, and he hasn't used it, so she decided she'd give it to me, and I'll have it on Thursday afternoon for when I go home at 4. I'm looking forward to it, I really am. The exercise will do me good, and I might not sweat as badly getting to and from work. I should also shave time off my morning commute, and that's -always- helpful.
As for my lightsabre, the website has about a week or less to advise me on how long the wait is going to be. I don't like the idea of having a bunch of money authourised for use, and not know when it's going to be taken out. I suppose I underestimated the demand for such a new item like this. Oh well, I'll keep trying.
I'm off tomorrow, thankfully, so tonight I'll stay up as late as I choose. =) Tomorrow the DVD burner should be here, so it'll be plenty of file backing-up-goodness.
