Well, I don't normally post before work, but I'm sitting here with an hour and fifteen minutes of time before I need to go, and not nearly an hour and fifteen minutes of stuff to do to fill it. =) Sunday, I came home early from work because I felt awful, dizzy and achey and sick. I really hope that doesn't happen today, I need my money. $_$ I have a seven hour shift today, and another day off tomorrow, so that's good. Work days always tend to go faster when I don't work the day after.
In other sort-of news, my lightsabre thingie I ordered may very well not be in my paws until late October, if the other website I checked is an indication of the site I ordered from. I wondered why my bank account wasn't charged for the amount I authourised, and yesterday I found out. The company that makes them was apparently out of them (they're very new, mind,) and the online merchant has to wait for a second shipment. I sent off an email asking how long I should expect to wait, because if it's October, I'm going to cancel the order and pull the money from the account to make a money order or something. Money is usually too tight for us to leave 120 dollars in there without spending any of it. Hopefully it won't take -quite- that long. Hell, there may be another lightsabre by Master Replicas (green, finally!) out around that time that I may try for. ;)
At least my DVD writer IS on its way, and expected to arrive tomorrow afternoon around 4:30. I'm off work too, so I can wait for it here and install it as soon as it arrives. I don't suppose there's much more in the way of news to report. I've had mild post-con depression, but it's been very, very mild, and, as is typical for me, at least a week after the con is over. I've been too busy at work and with other plans, which always keeps my mind from sinking. =)
