Well, it's pretty much official, the gall bladder has to come out. I see a surgeon this Friday to find out for certain whether it will need to come out but the ER doc, my primary, and NP all say it has to come out. The pain is tolerable as long as I don't move around much and don't eat too much fat. I miss cheese, damn it ( Read more... )

My friend had her gall bladder removed after years and years of discomfort and pain. She feels so much better now, very happy that she had it done.
She stayed home due to the pains and such, and now finds she wants to do more things.

Constant discomfort and pain will hold you back usually. It takes up energy and time.

I thought it was my gall bladder that was causing me pain so imagine my surprise when it turned out to be my liver. DAMNIT. Not really an option to have THAT taken out.
