icon explanation for Hawke...

Icon meme, stolen from Mistresshawk , and she explains it as : I pick seven of your icons I'm intrigued by, and then you make a post explaining where they're from/what they're of/what they mean to you. Then people comment on your post, you pick icons of theirs, and we generally all behave like sheep until the cows come home.

This was from the "Make a South Park Version of Yourself" website that was floating around a while ago. I thought I did a pretty good job and it usually suits my mood.

Hehehe, this is one of the zillion cat icons/images that have been floating around recently, but i really liked this one because of the reference to Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. I guess that is Johnny Depp Cat driving...

I used to play a text game online called Earth 2025 and later Utopia and in the game you run a virtual country and can name it anything you like. I named my first country "Raise Maggots, Ask Me How!" just because it was funny and I got good comments on it. Well our little alliance got into a war and while I was trying to smooth things out with our opponents, I did a lot of posting to their forums and kept signing my name. Eventually i just started signing my messages "Maggots" and they knew who I was. As luck would have it, we got invited to join RoCK, the biggest alliance in the game and I became a division leader and then the next reset I was asked to be one of the alliance leaders. Because of the nature of the game, I ended up being known to about 20,000 other players online as "Maggots" so it kind of stuck. I have used it as an internet handle for games ever since.

I named this pickle, but when i went back and looked at the image it is actually a balloon. For some reason it tickled me that four big guys were riding a pickle/balloon and looked very homo-erotic.

This one should be pretty self explanatory. I am constantly accused of looking like a pirate... hehe.

This is the Cheshire Cat from the morbid Alice in Wonderland game that was out some years back. I loved the graphics for the game and I have always had an affinity to the story and characters. At one point my friends and I watched it under the influence of chemical assistance and decided we all wanted to be different characters in the film (Disney version) I ended up being the Doormouse (purposely misspelled) and I used to read poetry at open mike night downtown as "Poetry from the Doormouse"... hehehe We even had dog tags with our character's name on it.
