We went to Boston today. We woke up nice and early and made sure we were on time. The train ride there was really fun with Dan peeing into a bottle, to come to find out there was a bathroom in the last car. The girls in front of us talking about having their fake ID's and going clubbing in Boston. Once we got to Boston is when everything turned to shit for the most part. We walked around for a while trying to figure out where to go. I didn't get my Duck Tour tickets refunded even after a long amount of haggling on the phone. They'll be hearing from me. Seeing as how I'll get 96 dollars from the refunded tickets, I might as well put up a good fight. We spent so much time trying to get someone to refund the tickets that by the time we ate some food, it was 3:45, 15 minutes until we had to go to the Omni Theater. I loved the Omni Theater the first time I went back in 6th grade, but this time was completely different. We saw a movie about extreme sports (people skiing down huge mountains, surfing, and other stuff) and it was just so nauseating that I tried to close my eyes and sleep through it. When we got out of the movie, it was close to 5:00, when the exhibit halls close. I'm glad Kit had a coupon so we only had to pay $4.00 to get in, because that's about all we got to cram into the 15 minutes we were in there. Also, I thought that on the train I would read for school, so I brought a bunch of books which really killed me to carry around during the day. Ah, another time I suppose.
I shouldn't say so many bad things about today though, other than the museum experience, I had an awesome time hanging around with Dan, Bob, and Kit. Dan had his camera, so we were filming random rock-out scenes for Dan to compile into an awesome movie, which I'm highly looking forward to. We got Domino's which I love and just hanging out with the four of us is always great. I want to try to do today over again sometime. I'm definitely planing on going back when it's actually fall, not this 70 degree crud like today. When the leaves start to turn some nice colors, I'll head back. It'll probably be around my birthday, so that ought to be nice.
Speaking of my birthday (Saturday, October 16), I was curious if there was anybody out there who would want to go to see the Beastie Boys at the Worcester Centrum on the 12th? The only bad thing is that the tickets are either like $36 or $41. What I figured though is, how long do you expect them to be around anyways? I still think they're great, so I wouldn't want to miss out on something like this just because of price. Anyways, yeah, Beastie Boys, wanna go?
This is way too long of an entry, but I just had to get that shit off my chest.... yo.
