Tonight's the night, It'll be just fine...
I absolutely love The Planet Smashers. They put me in such a good mood with their simple ska music. It's not even the stereotypical "annoying" ska that alot of people think of when they hear the word "ska." They've just got this good feeling about them. When I saw them at the "Ska Is Dead" tour, they were the only band that made me actually want to dance. Dancing only went on during their set too; the rest of the sets had a mosh pit the entire time.
Work was awful tonight, but only because it was so crazy. We hired some new people finally, thank god. I had to train the new kid, who seems pretty cool. I also volunteered to shovel the ice in seafood because we got a new person who does the schedule and she doesn't put anybody back there on Wednesday nights. I had to help the seafood lady pack everything up and then shovel, so I went over the time that I was supposed to be back there, which made my manager pissed at me because there were a bunch of things she needed me up front for, and the new kid didn't know what he was doing. AHHHH! By the end of the night things went better, I won a Red Coin (Big-Y lingo here), and bought myself a bunch of water because I love that shit.
I have to work tomorrow morning at 9:30 until 3:00. I should be ok, but I ought to go to bed quite soon to make sure I won't be half dead. PAY DAY TOMORROW! YES! Finally, first pay check to go towards my new cymbals.
