About owls
There are some owls in our neighbourhood. It's about two years since they first appeared.
It's not like I live in some kind of forest, I actually live in a very lively quarter. The only thing that reminds a forest is two high trees in neighbour's garden. They are as high as 5-storey building, and with some smaller trees in other gardens they seem to be an ideal place for the owls...
I love the owls. I've seen them a few times flying from tree to tree. They are so big! Tawny owls or something like that.
But damn them, they are so noisy! One of the owls is living on the neighbour's tree, and it's squeking all night. It's like: Squeaaaak!-10 seconds of silence-squeaaaak!-10 seconds of silence-squeaaaak!.... The sound is really annoying.
The fact that our super big window is facing exactly towards the tree with the noisy-owl doesn't help one bit. Summer nights are like a hell. It's too hot inside, so we open the window, but then we hear squaking all night. I'm also afraid of opening the window too much, because I wouldn't be very happy if I woke up with an owl on my head... And it could happen really easily, because we already found a swallow in our room when we woke up... (It pooped on my sis's bed... xD)
But really, the owls... It's often like this:
Our owl: Here I aaaaam!!! *squeak*
Owl on a different tree somewhere farther: Wheeeeere?!?! *squeak*
Our owl: Heeeeeeere! *squeak*
Completely different own on yet another tree: Wheeeere?! *squeak*
Me: $%#*%!!!!!!!! *hides under her pillow*
Our owl: Heeeeere! *squeaks*
One of other owls: *flies to our owl* Here you are!!! *squeak*
Our owl: Good morning!!! *squeak*
Other owl: Good morning!!! *squeak* Let's go visit Nick!! *squeak*
Our owl: Yeaaaaaah! *squeak*
Other owl: Yeaaaaaah! *squeaks and flies away with our owl*
Me: Thank god... I have to fall asleep before they return!!
