I'm very sorry I didn't get your message until you went through all of this, because I would have been very happy to talk to you about things...
I guess you are taking a good step in realizing that things are how they are, and seeing things as clearly as you are right now...yes moments are going to come when you feel simply awful, but one day those moments will be gone...
We have both had horrible years, and I really feel for you, I think reading your journal right now pains me the most because I know exactly what you're going through (in a round about way), but the most important thing is to keep going. Everyone makes mistakes, some m ore than others, but don't let your life be defined by them. Realize that everything that has happened in the last year doesn't mean you are a bad person, and that it will ultimetly make you stronger/better for having lived/dealt with it.
If that guy doesn't write you back....forgediabouthim. Easier said than done I know, but just try to go out and meet new people. I wish you lived in St.Louis so we could go out, I'd make you meet some people :P
