Friday night, my backyard looked like this:
Tonight, it looks like this:
What's that stick in the snow, you say?
That's a foot of snow, what the heeeeey.
Also: Scamp's first snow day!
He's an indoor cat, but he's been staring at the snow so hard all week I thought I'd let him try it out.
I had to resist the urge to just toss him into deeper snow and let him just crunch through the top layer of ice.
Not so sure about this...
Scamp's verdict: NO LIKEY.
I'm thinking it'll actually be a White Christmas this year... I've never had one of those. But the roads are nearly impassable and that is just not cool. I have to walk to work every morning now, since you definitely can't bike through this.
THIS IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HOW IT WORKS, OREGON.
And a couple of skecthes to make this a true skethcblog post:
More of my international Animates designs for Fusion Factor. These girls
have been drawn before, but have gone through a redesign to make them more Chinese-looking (and, er, less like a certain ex-friend because awkwaaaard). I kept their outfits, though, as I was actually quite pleased with the design. Even though it's so... pink. If I'm going to draw all sorts of girls with diverse origins and personalities, I'm going to have to make some of them like different colors than me.
Inabi Kiyo, third team member from Japan and the world's youngest Animate. Yes, she is a pink cat Animate. I haven't explained much about my plan for Animate technology, but while the scientists doing the fusion process are in there messing around with all the genetics, one can request an engineered color change (and that's why Cammy is purple). I can't decide whether I want Kiyo to be 12 or 14, and I definitely need to work on drawing younger characters.
Now off to work on Christmas presents!
she's found something to die for, something to fight for
someone to show her the way
she's found someone to cry for, someone to lie for
heart full of blood of the dinosaurs
