Well here we are again...
It's always such a pleasure.
Whew, there were supposed to be way more entries than that. While I have been a little busy, there were plenty of times I could have sat down and made one. It's not like I don't have anything to talk about either, my life has actually been pretty eventful lately. It just all comes down to me not wanting to write it down. And I wouldn't try, if I knew it wouldn't help me later. *sigh* Anyway, I'll make a bit of a list of things that have happened since that last entry.
In no particular order...
1. My birthday! That was yesterday. I am officially 16 now, and unlike other birthdays, I actually do feel a bit different for it. Sixteen has always seemed like a big age for me. Like, the image you get when you think of a 15 year old and a 16 year old is really different. Maybe it's just me. xD
So yeah, I went out to a nice restaurant with my family and my best friend. (Such good food, oh man.) Which I suppose is kind of uneventful for a 16th birthday. Usually (In America anyway.), your 16th birthday is supposed to be something big, y'know, "sweet sixteen" and all. But I just didn't feel like having a big party or anything like that, my friend who's birthday is on the 15th feels the same way. Such laid back teenagers we are. xD
2. I got satellite television! Haha, so freakishly behind the times, I know. But yeah, we haven't had anything besides local channels in my house since I was about six. So it's a pretty big change, though honestly, rather unnecessary. So yeah, so many unneeded channels. xD There's like 500 of 'em, and I've found less than ten I actually watch. xD Most of those are for one specific show as well. I'll make a whole other entry about my new favorite shows/channels I think. xD
3. School is out for the summer! That was May 31st. I didn't feel the usual "openness" or excitement like most people this year. Maybe it's because I have so much going on this summer. Maybe it's because I'm already thinking(worrying) about band next year. (Do I need to make an entry about band and it's huge place in my life? Serious question.) Maybe it's because I had to say a final goodbye to a teacher I had the most extreme amount of (teacherly) love for. That definitely put a damper on my last day. I... don't really feel like talking about that one right now really.
Anyway, I've had a nice week of relaxing, but it won't be long before my summer break schedule from hell starts up. xD It's not that bad, just quite packed. There's only like two weeks total I'm actually going to be at home with nothing going on. Oh jeez, I don't really feel like getting into describing all of that right now. Dx Tell ya what, I'll make another entry going into detail about my summer later today or early tomorrow.
So yeah, that's the main things I can think of. I'm glad I finally got this off my back. Be expecting a voice meme in the future, me and niamy_tak promised we'd do one for each other. : ) (I'm getting to your email and everything soon, I promise.)
