Things to celebrate
Omigod, omigod, omigod: NEW MOON EVENT IS OVER!
You have no idea how freaking ecstatic I am that the event is over and DONE WITH. I don't think I could've stood anymore of this whole thing if it were to go on for a day longer. My life will become somewhat normal again (although I think I would love to just sleep first for, like 20 hours straight or so).
I am not ashamed to say I wore badges bearing the faces of Michael Sheen, Jamie Campbell Bower, Christopher Heyerdahl and... well, the kid who played Alec. Whoever his name is.
We kept up the Jane (Dakota Fanning) 'Creepy Little White Girl' Smoky Eyes theme as planned. I have to say, I am now rather proficient at creating the smoky eyes effect. If you're ever around and if you need someone to do your eye make-up? Hire me. I spent a few hours at Make Up For Ever boutique yesterday and learned how to do it properly - that is, proper smoky eyes, not proper raccoon's eyes or something. Then I went on a major make-up shopping spree at MUFE and bought their HD series).
Another purchase I made yesterday was the HBP DVD. I got the Region-1 version, which has the hologram cover. If you look at it from a certain angle, Harry and Dumbledore becomes Draco and Snape. This is very cute. I am so glad I didn't cave and buy the Region-3 version. Heh. And speaking of HP, I got an HP pen from Jonathan. *grins* He went to the DVD launching party and got me a merchandise!
Fannish things aside, I would like to say congratulations to three very special people:
To my parents, HAPPY WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!
And to Junnosuke Taguchi, who still occupies my heart even until now, HAPPY 24TH BIRTHDAY! ♥
