One of my professors is fond of telling this story; one night he and his brother fought for 5 hours over a point of philosophy. Nothing was settled, and it was only the next day, after they had retired to their separate homes, that one realized his conflict with the other was simply over separate definitions of prima facie. It's an easy thing to overlook, one brother a philosopher and the other a lawyer, each with a slightly different common usage of the term. One called the other and all was well again.

People spin their wheels a lot around here. I spin my wheels a lot around here.
