This morning royally sucked

Hope you guys don't mind me ranting a bit (and I might as well make a post once in a while LOL) :)

I actually thought today would be a good day. See, last night on the way home from work, I was panicking a bit because I missed over half of Waiting for Superman by Daughtry, which is currently one of my favorite songs to listen to on radio. (My perceived luck and outlook for the day depends on whether I hear my favorite songs on the radio and whether or not I hear the whole song).

However, the song that played immediately after that was You Belong With Me by Taylor Swift, which is one of my top three favorite songs to hear on the radio (the other two are Payphone by Maroon 5 and Will You Still Love Me by Chicago). So last night ended on a good note, and I was hoping the luck would carry on over to today.

Apparently not.

I usually exercise a bit (just some pushups and situps and such) in the morning before I eat breakfast and then leave for work, and on Fridays I sleep in a little and only do half of my exercise routine. However, today I slept in 10 minutes later than I intended and therefore had to cut out one of my exercise sets. Maybe that was a foreshadowing of my bad morning, I dunno, but I didn't think it was very important since it was Friday and I therefore had an "excuse" to be lazy.

Of course there was a ton of traffic on the freeway, but that was normal and I should still have gotten to work 15 minutes early as usual... if someone hadn't rear-ended me :(

No worries! I'm perfectly fine. Someone rear-ended the person behind me, and the person behind me ended up rear-ending me, so I got off the luckiest. The only "damage" for me was the paint on my rear bumper got chipped/scratched a little. You should've seen the other people *smiles dryly*

But yeah, that set me back quite a bit, at least 20 minutes. Then when I got back in the car, I almost panicked because I couldn't find my keys...but turns out I just dropped them in the crack between the passenger seat and the cup holder, so that was fine once I fished them out.

So I'm thinking I might still be able to get to work on time since we have a 10 minute grace period... and then some car decided to break down in the middle of the freeway and block off the the left two lanes. Care to guess which lane I was in? -_- And to add insult to injury, I missed a good chunk of Waiting for Superman yet again.

So instead of getting to work 10 minutes late but still "on time," I got to work 15 minutes late. That would not have been so bad... except I realized that I could not find my ID card to get into the building OTL I always stick it in the outer pocket of my purse, so maybe it fell into some obscure crack in the car during the accident or maybe I dropped it when I got out of the car after the accident, I dunno. I spent maybe five minutes searching my car with no luck, so I just gave up and knocked on the front door and had someone let me in.

Yup, great morning, and all before I even got to work. Oddly enough, the rest of my work day wasn't that bad. Yes, I had to bother one of my coworkers to set up a new ID card for me, and yes, I had to bother another coworker a few more times than usual today for help on certain problems, and yes, I didn't get to eat lunch with yet another coworker at work (who, yay, is about the same age as me and does read/watch some manga/anime) because we were both busy. But overall, it was actually okay, especially with there being no customers for the last couple hours, which I spent braiding my hair and browsing the Frozen wikia page~

And the best part? On the way home, Drops of Jupiter by Train played, and I haven't heard that on the radio in several months. So I think I can take that as a good sign that everything will be alright? :)

Though now I'm actually not sure. I'm a month late, but I just found out that in addition to Yamada-kun and Shingeki no Kyojin, Crunchyroll Manga has also licensed Kami-sama no Iuutori II. Godd@mnit D:< I see that there is no Mood for "bipolar," so I'll just leave it as "aggravated."

But to end on a happy (and again, bipolar) note... Frozen is a very beautiful movie and I really loved it upon watching it last week ^.^ Hope you guys had a much better Friday than mine, and have a great weekend!
