I just realised that I really do quite like being up till the time between night and dawn.
Its so extremely quiet. And dark. And absolutely wonderful.

No kids screaming downstairs (as much as I like them, sometimes).
No smses or msn alerts, because everyone's asleep, or otherwise occupied.
It doesn't even bother me that I'm actually up doing Chemistry.

Ugh, this is so frustrating.

Its (almost) twelve midnight on a school night, and I'm still up, thinking about useless (tentatively so) things and itching to write something, but having nothing of good substance to write about.
