Scary indeed. I miss my guitar. I wonder if I would my violin if I still had one. I feel like my back has been turned on that world for so long, would it take me back?

It's amazing to think that last year sometime, I was driving in rural-remote Victoria on my daily 100km trip to Boort or Pyramid Hill, and now here I am in bustling Japan just one year later. Jason is in a sleepy little rural town of Japan named Kamogawa city. Yes, the name is misleading. My Japanese needs work. The weather is humid. The hospitals are odd. More on this later.

Jason has new wushu pants, fei yue shoes and a cudgel. Jason is happy.

Neurosurgery morning rounds at 7am are being surprisingly manageable. Live brains are cool. I have a job at Westmead hospital next year. Yay.
