Happily, T finally called me and explained that she's just dealing with a lot right now. I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions about our friendship, its just that my feelings were hurt.
She said Evil Ex-Husband is now declaring bankruptcy and she is stuck with $25,000 of his debt because they didn't use an attorney for their divorce. He said he would pay his debt, she believed him, and now she is stuck and may have to declare bankruptcy herself. Worse yet, he took out a $10,000 loan and was supposed to give her the money but he blew it all on himself probably knowing full well that he would simply declare bankruptcy in a few months.
Gosh, marriage is so scary.
