Saws and Sleep Paralysis

Nov 06, 2010 00:02

So yesterday the worst thing happened.
I was sleeping in my bed and I remember dreaming that I was a detective with mom and we were gathering something for a trip, food or something. And then the next thing, my mind is completely blank and all I can see is black. There is no more dream. I'm awake but I haven't woken up yet. I hear this noise, this sound like a circular saw cutting into something and it gets louder and louder. And as it gets louder and louder, my head starts to feel like it's expanding and it hurts. And then the sound fades away. It does it again, only it stays longer and my head hurts again. Then, as it's building up again, when it reaches the loudest point, it doesn't fade away and my head is throbbing and it feels like my skull is close to bursting and I open my eyes. My heart is pounding, it's hard to catch my breath, but the pain in my head is absolutely gone. There's only a ringing. And I have this intense fear that something or someone just left my room.

I thought I could just go down stairs to my parents' room because they only just went to bed, but when I look at the clock it says it's 4 in the morning. It took me so long to get back to sleep. That was probably the scariest thing that has ever happened to me.
