Been Writing This Entry Since Friday =_=

I spent Friday at Sis#3's shop. She asked me to come over because she was feeling lonely. I wasn't exactly off running having adventures so I didn't mind keeping her company. Her place is the kind I would feel so weird to come in as a customer; it's got that bare exclusive air around it, even though some of the stuff you'll find there could be gotten in a street shop in Malaysia.

I decided to wile away the time by catching up with some writing.

[I love plot-building, but have a hard time writing the actual story. Ugh, I have so many half-written ideas that will never see the light of day.]

She said I didn't have to do anything but that ended up being a lie. =3= Fold some clothes, take some pictures, mind the shop while she's out. It wasn't too bad. She told me to lock the door though since 'The Incident of the Public Mastubator'. *thumbs up* Classy area! There're also these guys from the next building who keep just staring in through the window. Creepy, dude.

Then she had my Sunday weekend as well because one of her employees quit right as she was getting busy. We were wonderfully compensated though. She had to get rid of some stock so she let me take a couple of pieces. One of the perks of having a sister who owns a clothing store! ^_^

My phone at work is an idiot. It'll ring for like 5 miliseconds before cutting off the call. I usually pick up on the second ring to make sure but now as soon as it sounds, I have to make a ninja grab for it. Makes me think of a book I read where this guy's only job is to flip a switch when a bulb lights up, and he builds a wheel contraption for his arm so that he could do it faster (I believe it was 'Fandom of The Operator' by Robert Rankin, in case you were interested).

In relation to work, we're doing an exhibition thing for our research projects so I'm invited to the meetings. I'm not really involved but I don't mind going - I'll be the one sitting to the side munching on her free food :D Also, turns out the videographer for the event is my future brother-in-law. Small world!
