Last week was my cousin's wedding. It was definitely one of the more laid back weddings I've been to. Even as the guests were arriving, the groom was still in his t-shirt and shorts. The next time I saw him, he was watching wrestling.
And last Thursday night we had an Aqiqah for the new kiddies in our life. It's like a ceremony to show gratitude for newborns, and we threw flowers at them. There's a bit more to it; if you're really interested, it's googleable.
They also get their head shaved. Little nephew was crying until he was given his thumb to suck on. At one point, he looked like a little balding old man.
Also, I'm making a new mixed CD to listen to in my car. The theme for this one is fun karaoke-worthy songs. I was wondering if you guys can recommend me some. This is what I have so far:
