Had to teach my old lady class today and by the time I finished my 10min walk I was soaking wet. I was so worried of the smell that I stayed a good three feet away from the students even when they were asking me a question. Anyway, today- like yesterday- has passed without much happening. I was wasting time on youtube the other day and came across some 'para para' dance videos. If you don't know what these are, I highly suggest having a look... hilarious. Nonetheless, it got me thinking as to how easy it would be to crank out a whole lot of cheesy dance music and pocket a bundle. Something to consider for the rest of they day.
A student of mine (favourite student actually) passed me a book called The God Delusion because I told him I was agnostic rather than atheist. It sounds cliche but the book did convince me of a number of flaws in my own logic, perhaps because I wasn't seeing the 'big picture' or maybe there is still some residual religiosity from all the years of catholic school. Regardless, it's a great book and I recommend that everyone read it and come to their own conclusions. As for fiction, I've been reading American Gods which is decidedly less uninspiring.
