(no subject)
So, how about an update? Okay, I guess I can do that. I've been meaning to, but you know how things get.
Things have been going really well, "The Producers" has opened and is up and running. I'm enjoying the run- it is a lot of running around, pushing sets, and trying not to run over actors, but it is going smoothly. And it gets a little easier each day as we learn the show better and better.
We recently had intern reviews and I received very high marks. Apparently everyone loves working with me- which I enjoyed hearing. And after the review they offered me the position of ASM on the next show of the season, "Forbidden Broadway." It will be a ton of work, but I feel ready and they agree, so I accepted. I am looking forward to it. And it is nice to know that I am doing well and on the right path. I also have been making friends here, mostly the other interns. We have good times, both at and away from work. Which makes life that much nicer and more relaxed.
I talked to Sam today. She's in London. I miss her. And I REALLY want to go to London. I don't have the time anytime soon. And I don't have the money- but I really want to go. Someday. It will be my next big travel experience.
I am starting to really miss my friends. It feels like its been forever... Probably because this is the first time in forever that I am not in school at this time. I didn't get to have that, "hi! how was your summer?" moment with everyone. But that is why facebook and the internet are good, because it makes it easy to do that- but it isn't quite the same. Oh well, someday I'll get to go back to Washington.

Oh, and: Steve Nash, the All-Star point guard of the Phoenix Suns, saw my show last night. That was pretty cool, too.
