Fandoms are awesome

I'm finally reading Going Postal (actually three quarters of the way through now, but still..) as this will be the Discworld TV Movie this Christmas. I like it more than I thought I would. I didn't care much for Making Money, but this, this is actually damn funny. Maybe I just needed to get used to Moist more. Also, there was Unexpected!Otto, which always cheers me up. I love that crazy-arse-suicidal-but-happy vampire. I really do.

I finally saw Merlin, because Azi told me to, and I generally do what Azi tells me now, concerning fandoms, it's easier than putting up a fight, then finding I actually lvoe it a few months later. And yes. It is awesome. Even if my head is going 'Why the hell is Gwen hitting on Giles? Why have Victor Meldrew got hair?! Why is the crazy chick from Skins here? WRONG WRONG!!'
God, this is going to be fantastic.

Finally, I saw this on Lower Tadfield and had to share with you guys, because just about everyone I know either has read or is reading Good Omens (some people might be worried about that, but not me. Oh no). Neil Gaiman was showing off one of the newest Czech covers for GO on his site. He pronounces it 'the slashiest cover to date'. I think he's right:

And I thought the dancing one was slashy. O_o All I have is my inner Crowley wondering why the Manchester is he naked and more to the point, why has he got HOOVES?
