Day 18 - Your favorite birthday
My favorite birthday was probably my 10th. I have painted a horrible picture of my family here, but birthdays were one thing they never skimped on. I remember being really down about my birthday being in February in Chicago. I wanted a beach party. lol! My mom found an indoor water park not too far away and they rented the whole place out for 2 hours for my party. I think I invited 12 kids or so, they hired a school bus to drive us all there, and we had the whole park to ourselves. I even got a cake that looked like a swimming pool. It was awesome, and one of my favorite memories as a kid.
Of course, Arthur's gift of surprise tickets to West Side Story is up there as a favorite too :)
