My husband is weird...

The other day, I was trying, yet again, to convince Andy that you don't just leave your clothes in piles on the floor...
Andy: But its so much easier. You just leave them in a pile and pick out what you want when you need it.
Me: No, you don't. Its messy and un-organized, and much harder to find stuff. Plus it takes up more room (which is what he was complaining about in the first place) than a dresser. A dresser's much nicer and its easier to find stuff.
Andy: But if you leave the socks on the floor, they get together and they make baby socks! *goofy look on face*
Me: *gives him the "You're such a doofus" look* No they don't, and you know it. You aren't leaving your clothes on the floor, they stay in the closet and the dresser.

Just a few minutes ago I was cleaning out the rest of the closet to make room for boxes that have been lying around our room. I found loads of socks that Andy had just tossed in there, so I picked them up and tossed them in the laundry.
Me: *picks up stray sock, finds another lying underneath* ... *picks up sock and looks at it. Walks out of closet holding sock with strange look on face* Why is there a pair of baby socks in the closet, and how the heck did they get in there?
Andy: See, I told you that when you leave socks in piles they make baby socks!

So yeah...I honestly don't know how we ended up with a tiny pair of baby socks in our closet. The sad thing is, that Andy's statement is the only real explanation...All the socks in the closet were dirty, so they couldn't be someone else's socks that got mixed up in our laundry by mistake.
So now we have our first pair of baby socks for our baby when it comes! Magical socks that somehow appeared in our closet, and I'm now never going to hear the end of it from Andy about how leaving socks together have "sock sex" and make baby socks...
