lol I was reading fanfic and organizing worldbuilding notes and didn't realize that woohoo, it's now officially 2015.

Um...yay?

In honor of running my six hundred and twenty sixth experiment today (well, yesterday), I played the Lilo and Stitch soundtrack while conducting said experiment.

It only seemed fitting.

I am inordinately amused that I'm going to attempt installing Linux at work tomorrow.

Because:

• I've never used Linux before
• I haven't read the book yet
• We're doing this because WindowsXP is no longer going to be supported in about 2months and I've only just convinced my boss after 1.5 years of reminding that HEY MAYBE WE SHOULD NOT USE XP ANYMORE

Today I spent 10 hours straight working on flash animation to describe an assay protocol.

Wow.

Today I somehow accidentally kicked a running squirrel.

Well, I was walking and a squirrel darted out and I could feel the impact from my shoe.

But still...considering that a squirrel can dodge a racecar... Then again, there's the other phrase, "Squirrels: Nature's Little Speed Bumps".

There are times when I feel really old. And then there are the times when clearly, I am not.

Context: I am, biologically speaking, the older sibling. Also, I have this tendency to speak Pikachu-ish at home.
