I don't know if this is that unexpected ... and "love" might be pretty strong. But honestly I can't think of any horror movies that would be shocking for me to love. I have a pretty crazy taste in movies, like a lot of what I see. When it comes to horror movies I pretty much dislike all movies that are all torture, torture, lock you in the basement and torture you some mooooorree. But I couldn't think of one of those that I like so ... this.
It's a crap movie. CRAP. And a senseless sequel and the CGI is laughable, and the end is a cop-out but ... Tom Everett Scott! I find him appealing! And a 90's soundtrack (Bush!), and an end that teenage me (to my ever lasting shame) found more palatable then the original (I was a teenager with no taste). So it has a special place in my heart ... despite it being a bad film.
