I just realized, I have a pattern. A very specific scene I keep writing over and over.
A "type", if you will.
I just polished off another scene of an important conversation between a guy and a girl during a car ride on a rainy day. They talk, things are resolved (or at least more resolved than they started out being), someone is dropped off at their destination, end scene. Sometimes with rain mixed in.
How many car ride scenes have I done? Four.
How many rainy day scenes have I done? Four.
How many car-ride-rainy-day scenes have I done? Three.
Yeahhh.
