I JUST GOT MY GRADES IN THE MAIL!
I GOT A 96% - A In ART WITH A PERFECT 100% ON MY END OF COURSE EXAM! AND I GOT A 79% - C IN FRENCH WITH A 93% - A ON MY END OF COURSE! Despite the fact that I thought that fifteen percent of my grade would be a little more than 8 points above what I had before, IT BROUGHT ME UP A WHOLE LETTER GRADE!
What upsets me, though is that I have a 92% - B in English. By the Knox County grading scale, that's ONE FRICKIN' POINT below an A. I got a 94% on the end of course exam.
I've got an A at 96%, a C at 79%, a B at 85%, and a B at 92%. I don't know my GPA because they don't put it on the transcript until you've been there a full year, though. I THINK it's, like... 3.0 or something, though. I averaged them together and got 89.5, which would be a 90%. So I should have, like, 3.0 or something like that. I miss my Middle School 4.0, but I guess it's okay. I mean, if I take anough AP classes the extra five points should help bring it up... and colleges are more interested in what kind of classes you take than what you make in them - or so my French teacher said. She said they'd be more impressed by a C in AP Chemistry than an A in Music for Listeners just because you decided to try a harder class.
I spilled my Dr. Pepper in the floor... Now I'm sad. :'(
