Prison Break

Poor Tweener. I never liked him, but trying to finally do right by Michael and the gang and going to his girlfriend's house (they really liked each other! aw) made me warm up to him. So of course he got shot. :/

Michael's face when Linc was leaving BROKE MY HEART. HIS SAD LITTLE FACE! His little tears! Wentworth was really acting! It was so cute. But man, Linc is being a little offputting with his attitude. I mean, yeah, Michael is obsessed with his plan, but come on dude, he did GET THROWN INTO PRISON IN ORDER TO GET YOU OUT. AND SUCCEEDED. A little gratitude here and there! That's all i'm sayin'.

I think the purpose of this show is to fuck up the lives of its characters as much as humanly possible. MAN that government is evil! Poor Sara. How many paper cranes does she have to get in the mail and how much emotional trauma does she have to go through before she finally freaking contacts Michael? Sheesh. I think he's the only one left on your side, kiddo!

NO SUCRE WHAT ARE YOU DOING? You are breaking Michael's heart. :*(

Heroes

For some reason i feel a sort of "mediocrity parading as awesomeness" vibe to the show and i don't know why. That being said, i AM enjoying it. It's one of, like, two new shows i was looking forward to before the season started.

Of course, Hiro totally rules. His twist at the end kind of kicked my ass, i loved it. Very unsettling and cool. (and a lot like the first few episodes of Lost. MAN i miss those crazy twists.) But dude, two people with their heads chopped open and brains spooned out in scenes right next to each other? NOT COOL. And before the time travel reveal i was all "...well, sucks to be the artist dude!" because that is a HARSH way to go, and without any character development either. The murders were so gruesome i was sort of thinking they almost couldn't be real, it was just so abrupt. "Oh, by the way, HERE ARE SOME PEOPLE WITH THEIR SKULLS CHOPPED OPEN. And also this one is frozen and there is someone else STABBED TO A BANISTER! Plus mutilated bodies in the trunk of a car." Uhhhhhhh.

I was very happy with Peter discovering he could fly, because at the end of the last episode it seemed like he got totally ripped off. Although with the prophetic stick figure drawing (.....Jenn?) it looks like it may be going more in a Rogue direction, which is still better than some lame-o fortunetelling dreams.

Mohinder is VERY ATTRACTIVE. I know he [supposedly] doesn't have any special power, but i would like to speculate that his is the power of being pretty like a girl.

Niki's story is the most interesting to me right now, it's just so messed up. I loved her blacking out and waking up in a parking lot four hours later wearing different clothes. (i am guessing her evil alternate personality kind of likes RED.) Although, geez, evil!Niki sure wasn't trying very hard with burying those old bodies. Five feet from the road and only covered by two inches of sand? I thought you were better than that, evil!Niki.

YAY GREG GRUNBERG! YOU ARE SO ADORABLE AND I LOVE YOU!

Now if someone could help me out, i would greatly appreciate it. WHAT else has Claire's friend Zack (/Zach/Zak/Zachckkc) been in? The nerdy kid with the camcorder? I recognize him from SOMEWHERE and he's not listed in episodes cast on imdb or tv.com and it's driving me CRAZY. I'm guessing it's probably an episode of Smallville, because when i recognize someone and can't really place them, about 90% of the time it turns out they were on Smallville as a freak of the week. But i need to know FOR SURE.

Studio 60

LUCY DAVIS LUCY DAVIS LUCY DAVIS!!!! I HAVE BEEN IN A CRAPPY MOOD ALL DAY BUT THAT MADE ME SMILE A LOT EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS ONLY IN IT FOR LIKE TWO SECONDS! LUCY DAVIS!!! I WAS NOT EXPECTING LUCY DAVIS!

Hi, i totally ship Matt and Harriet! Hi! She made him laugh with her Holly Hunter impression! They love each other! It's going to be a problem! Sarah Paulson is pretty! Hi!

I loved Matt tackling Danny. And Danny dancing with Harriet. I enjoy montages!

I still am not finding it quite as... snappy as Sports Night or West Wing, but nonetheless i like it. I even liked Jordan in this episode! When she was twirling the pen on the chain. I found that endearing! I don't know why!

Also, i just have to mention that i really love the studio. I think it sort of reminds me of The Muppet Show a little bit. (but maybe that would be... any sort of backstage thing. i don't know. but I LIKE IT.) The art deco quality to it makes it feel very LA, so it's sort of a good and/or obvious contrast to SNL.
