Okay, i wasn't going to say anything, because i have nothing of value to add, but these episodes were too good to not acknowledge them. So!
Smallville was AWESOME. I mean, dude, look! Look what happens when Chloe is focused on! Wondrous things! I adored her being drunk with power, her reporter instincts having a field day with what happened to her. It reminded me so much of Rush, being so smirky and confident and cocky, except this was ALL Chloe. Which, of course, makes you wonder how much Rush!Chloe really was Chloe. Damn, i love that girl. And oh! Oh! Would you look at that! CHLEEEEEX!! Lex. touched. her. Yeah. That's right. BOOYAH! I was freaking out that the bridge Chloe crashed on was the bridge that Lex went off. Chloe/Lex parallels! Yes! The Pete revelation seemed a little weird to me, but aw, poor Pete. And the last scene with Chloe and Clark had me wishing they would kiss. Dude, what the hell. Sometimes i still root for them. Oh, and Lana's leaving. Uhm. I'm so distraught. How is it that episodes that aren't All About Lana are always great? It's a conundrum!
Angel was also AWESOME. I've missed Connor. I always loved that fucked up kid, i really did. Seeing him act normal was SO strange, but vastly entertaining. Spike and Illyria were hilarious ("Don't touch my clipboard"). Love Adam Baldwin- i'm just so happy to see him on my tv again. Wes and Illyria sort of teaming up at the end freaked me out a little bit, because Illyria was like, the muscle (seriously, she was Wes's bouncer), and it was crazy. The flashbacks as Wes got his memory back were awesome. Connor reverting to destroyer!Connor and kicking ASS was also awesome. And then... oh, the end. That final scene was simply perfect. They played it with such subtlety, and VK's facial expressions were so telling and ambiguous at the same time. Connor totally remembers, and that kiiiiiiillllls me. The perfection of that last line... i simply cannot describe it. It aches. I can't believe there are only four episodes left EVER. Sob!
