This episode was... unpleasant. I felt incredibly anxious the whole time for no specific reason, and there was nothing to really offset the shitty and/or boring things that happened. One brief Jaime/Brienne scene is NOT ENOUGH.
The Jaime/Brienne was really good though, i didn't know it was possible to be so excited about somebody helping another person cut their food. :) :) :) Also, hand-holding. :) :) :) Also, Jaime still trying to talk Brienne out of trouble even though his powers of persuasion don't work anymore. :) :) :) NEXT WEEK ADFGFHGJFHGSJFGJFHG

I would've been interested to see how exactly Tyrion told Sansa and Shae (!!!!) about the engagement. Like i guess that scene probably doesn’t happen on-page in the books either, but given all the other talky scenes in this episode it seemed odd that they would cut away from that, especially since it's a pretty big deal between two major POV characters. Sansa's face at the end though, GODDDD. I gotta say though, Tyrion and Cersei's moping about this whole bargain is really endearing. At least everyone is miserable together!
Gettin' real tired of the short shrift they're giving Bran's storyline. It's like they just throw in a scene of him to remind us he exists. HE HAS MAGIC POWERS, WHAT ARE YOU DOOOING
GENDRY NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I've been under the impression that Gendry and Arya get separated but the possibility remains for them to be reunited in the future, so i haven't been too worried, but now i'm not so sure. WTFFFFFF DON'T KILL GENDRY
I wasn't all that interested in the wildling stuff and i'm feeling kind of blaaahhhh about Jon and Ygritte as a couple. I liked her telling him he has to be loyal to her now, but the extended kissing on top of the Wall was so sappy. Plus i didn't like any of the effects on the Wall climb so that added to the whole underwhelmed feeling.
DON’T NEED TO WATCH THEON GETTING TORTURED ANYMORE. All the teasing about Misfits dude's identity is so boring, like, okay, obviously he's Ramsay Bolton, let's move on.
Iron Man 3

That needed at least an hour more of Pepper and Maya.
I was so fucking excited for Pepper in the suit! And then it turns out that gif set that was going around on tumblr was THE WHOLE THING? Like one minute of screentime, tops?!?!? FUCK YOU!!!!!!!!!!! So i spent the whole movie waiting for more Pepper, oh my god Extremis Pepper, omg omg omg omg omggggg... and then THAT was over in a minute too! Granted, it was a massively amazing minute, but it was a lot of movie to sit through when the stuff i was really psyched about was so, so disappointingly brief. :/
And MAYAAAAAAAAA oh man she was so great, i love Rebecca Hall, and then... she died and/or disappeared.................... Ugh the shots of Maya and Killian with Tony's narration at the end gave me a lot of scientist feelings and i really wish there had been more of that, of all the implications of great and terrible scientific achievements through the lens of Tony and Maya and Killian and EXTREMIS PEPPER, DID I MENTION EXTREMIS PEPPER
Like i know there's a lot of virtue in the "normal people" aspect of superhero stories (Lois Lane being the prime example!), but the way these movies work is that all the action is centered on the superheroes (...obviously), so if there's a character you want to get screentime and cool shit to do, chances are they have to be an action hero. So as much as i love Pepper being a hero through, like, feelings and CEO stuff and things that average humans can do, getting to see her be an action hero PROTECTING HER SUPERHERO BOYFRIEND and EXACTING MURDEROUS VENGEANCE FOR HER MISTREATMENT is incredibly exciting and satisfying. ;______; I just wanted so much mooooooooooooore of it, it's like somebody made this amazing chocolate cake and it's so perfect and delicious and they gave me a single forkful of it and it tasted so good i wanted to cry and then they threw the rest of it in the garbage while saying "welp, you've had enough of that!" but NO I HAVEN'T i want to eat the whole cake until i go into a sugar coma and die, how dare you!!!!!!
I liked Killian, he was a good scumbag. Every time i see Guy Pearce in anything i get flashbacks to when i was mega obsessed with him after Memento and then i sigh wistfully.
I enjoyed Tony being pretty fucked up by what happened in The Avengers, and of course the post-credits Bruce cameo. I hated the narration, but the hilarious context of him talking to Bruce the whole time at least makes it tolerable.
The Extremis limb regrowth reminded me of Tron, but let's be real, what DOESN'T remind me of Tron
Hey i hadn't seen the new Thor trailer before! I mean, i saw everything in gif form on tumblr, but the trailer itself was really cool. Sif!!!!! Frigga's badass dagger!!!!!! And i love Thor's long hair partially tied back, combined with the cloak he's wearing he looks so cute. It's ridiculous how both Thor and Loki's hair keeps getting longer with each subsequent movie, yet Thor's looks wonderful and Loki's looks terrible. It's a metaphor!!!!!!!
