WOW THERE'S DEFINITELY NO WAY MARGARET AND OWEN'S PLAN TO RUN AWAY TOGETHER COULD POSSIBLY END BADLY FOR ANYONE! Yeah there is not a single way that this could go down that i would be happy with. 1) Owen dies. 1a) Margaret dying is not an option. 2) We have a repeat of Angela's escape plan and one of them balks at the last minute. 3) They actually get away with it and AREN'T ON THE SHOW ANYMORE. UNACCEPTABLLLLLEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ugh and i was so so into the scene of Owen proposing the idea to Margaret, and then when she said yes, and i love their faces and their interaction so muuuuucccchhhhhh asjgfdkahsgfdjsaf THESE STAKES ARE TOO HIGH THOUGH BECAUSE IT'S ALL GOING TO CRASH AND BURN AND ALL I WANTED WAS FUN SEXY TIMES AND INSTEAD IT'S JUST WAITING OUT THE CLOCK TO SEE HOW IT GOES HORRIBLY WRONG AND I DON'T WANNA

AT LEAST RICHARD AND JULIA ARE JOYOUS AND DELIGHTFUL AND NOT SOUL-CRUSHINGLY BLEAK :')

HE KNOWS HOW TO DAAAAAANCE AND SHE KIIIIIIIIIIIIISSED HIM AND I'M SO HAPPY I COULD CRY

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like, just the fact that they're both awkward and equally surprising to each other at different times and defensive of each other and end up striking a perfect balance IS SO WONDERFUL I'M PUKING RAINBOWS. Now as long as she doesn't find out he's an assassin everything is fine!!!!!!! u__u

Oh man Margaret's face when Nucky talked about killing Gyp -- that was amazing. That's the first time she's heard any of the real harsh realities of what it is she's a part of. :( And her telling Nucky to get his shit together was the bessstttttt.

The thing that weirds me out about the way this episode played out in terms of Nucky's failure to gain support with any of the real gangsters is that i feel like he's at exactly the same dead end Jimmy got to when he died last season. And they can't kill off Nucky, right? He's in the opening credits! He's the one fictional character on the show who can't die! But... WHAT IF HE CAN????????? What if they just killed off Nucky and let Margaret and Owen run away together and then the show just rebooted with somebody else in charge of Atlantic City? The main logistical problem with the series and the events it covers is that it's centered on a guy who is inconsequential in the historical scheme of things, while the real important figures actually making things happen are secondary characters. Not that i think the main character shouldn't be fictional, and not that this show is all about real-life history, it just seems like Nucky doesn't help to take the story in any interesting directions. I don't know, i suppose it's pretty ridiculous to even consider killing off Nucky, and i guess his stuff with Esther Randolph and Andrew Mellon is looking up, but it seems like they keep making it harder for themselves to force him into the real story of Rothstein and Luciano and Lansky and Capone and Torrio, et al. You have to think that at some point somebody would just get fed up with Nucky's annoying shit and have him taken out. YOU WIN OR YOU DIE. Season 4: EDDIE'S IN CHARGE NOW
