and now for something completely different...
Band camp has been my life for the past 3 days...the marching is really something compared to high school but I'm enjoying that for the most part, minus my many blisters that make it hurt so bad. I guess that's what you get when you march in a band that takes a lot of cues from drum corps...Anyways, the music is also really awesome! The theme is "Feeling Like A Kid Again". Definitely enjoying that part of marching band the most...it just sounds so amazing! Yeah, I'm a nerd...but if you (::points at you specifically::) were to hear it, I bet you'd feel the same! :p Let's see...if anyone would like to bring me a flat of water to restock my fridge, I'd gladly pay them back!! ::sad puppy dog eyes:: Gah, I can't believe it's only going to be Wednesday tomorrow...Um..Oh! So we were a day ahead of schedule today so we ended up getting a second break which involved the saxes going to the section leaders house and eating popsicles. That was awesome...they have the coolest apartment...hehe. Then we learned the pre-game maneuvers which is pretty nifty. I also found out that I am for sure getting a roommate. Somewhere along the line we both got confused about things and about when we'd both be coming out here...Oh well, Ryan Murphy seems like a good guy but we'll confirm that tomorrow when he moves in :p Yeah, that's about it...time to relax and care for my wounds :p Adieu!
