day 1...
So today started Band Camp! Woohoo!...It wasn't too bad but it definitely wasn't easy. It's a lot more tedious and precise than high school marching was. A lot of the commands we used to always use are now non-existant. The marching style is also quite a bit different, but nothing to major. The 2 hour breaks for lunch are also a godsend...hehe. However, hauling my sax across campus was not...But anywho, I'm quite stiff and burned so the rest of the week should be quite fun... ::shakes fist at the sun::
After camp, brought some more stuff up to the dorm and then went out to eat with the parents at Culvers. Twas quite tasty. Then I got fitted for my uniform and then headed back to the dorm.
So here's to a fun filled week of band camp! ::raises water bottle and sings a german beer drinking song...::
