OOC: The Plot So Far
Dayshift 34 (Friday)
Jiraiya arrives in Landel's at Noon.
He meets Naruto and Sai during lunch, where Sai explains Landel's to the newcomers. They agree to meet up at night.
After Lunch, Jiraiya is escorted to the Courtyard, where he meets up with Naruto and kinda gives him a pep talk.
Jiraiya meets his roommate while they eat dinner, and gives the man a quick rundown of what's up in Landel's.
Nightshift 34
Jiraiya leaves his room and meets up with Naruto.
They travel to Sai's room, realize he isn't there, and then head back.
They finally meet up with Sai and decide to get weapons.
On the way to get weapons, they run into Sasuke fighting something they believe out of his league, and Jiraiya rescues him, only to be stabbed with two nails. Nightshift ends before Naruto and Sasuke can start arguing properly.
Dayshift 35 (Saturday)
A Doyleton trip! Jiraiya boards the bus and meets Brooklyn.
Jiraiya takes a walk to the bookstore, where he meets Renamon and Orihime. He is a pervert, but ends up in a deep discussion with Renamon over theories about Landel's, and they agree to meet later. After the girls head their separate ways, Naruto finds Jiraiya and they talk. When Jiraiya realizes, in horror, that Orihime is underaged, Naruto calls him a Pedophile.
Jiraiya takes Naruto in his search to find his books on the shelves, but fails to do so.
The bus ride back is surreal, as Jiraiya finds his companions to be Sasuke, Naruto, and Itachi. He drops some interesting information that gets Itachi's attention, and somehow, no one ends up dead or sedated.
When he returns to his room, there isn't any interesting conversation with his roommate.
Nightshift 35
Once again, Jiraiya leaves his room and meets Naruto.
This time, however, they travel to Sasuke's room, where Naruto is recruited to join Aidou and Sasuke in exploring the basement.
Jiraiya heads off by himself and meets Itachi.
Itachi decides Jiraiya can join him on his mission, and they head to the 2nd floor. During this time, Jiraiya gives Itachi information in an effort to get him to answer a few questions. (Backthreading)

Dayshift 36 (Sunday)
Jiraiya meets Soubi in the Sun Room, where Soubi asks if Jiraiya is taking students and tells him that inspiration can be found in the woman named Sheena.
At Brunch, Jiraiya speaks with Renamon again, and they work more on their theory. Renamon reveals more about herself to Jiraiya--including that she's a Digimon--and he promptly gains a lot of points when he rationalizes how it must be like for her to be in a human body. He also reveals about his death to Renamon before anyone else, but not necessarily in that order.
Going to the Recreation Field, Jiraiya meets Sasuke and Zabuza; Sasuke reveals that the dead can be visitors. The conversation is cut short, but there is enough that Jiraiya becomes worried that Naruto could be visited by his parents.
Which is what happens next shift. Jiraiya-mun gets to play Dr. Wily to mess with Forte's head. Jiraiya spends all shift looking for Naruto, but doesn't find him.
Jiraiya also isn't talkative during dinner, or his roommate is gone; mun cannot remember which.
Nighshift 36
At the beginning of nightshift, Jiraiya leaves his room to find Naruto, only to have an angry Naruto shove the photograph of him, his family, and Jiraiya at the man. Jiraiya stays there for a long time in shock, staring at it, before eventually seeking out a partner for the night.
Jiraiya eventually comes across Sakura who is with some other patients. She leaves them to talk to Jiraiya, and after Jiraiya gives her enough information, demands to go to the basement to see Naruto and Sasuke. While Jiraiya doesn't know the way to the basement, they come across Renamon who does, and who flirts with Jiraiya, scarring Sakura forever. Even though Renamon only waves to Jiraiya.
They follow Renamon and head into the Sun Room.
After moving into the Arts and Crafts Room, Jiraiya and Sakura join the fight with two lucentiens, saving some boys with the help of Renamon. Jiraiya and Renamon continue to flirt, much to Sakura's horror, and dayshift arrives after Renamon finds herself a weapon.
Dayshift 37 (Monday)
For breakfast, Jiraiya meets Naruto and finally comes clean about the boy's parents and being Naruto's godfather. Naruto's understandably angry at first, but eventually they make up enough that Naruto cheers up again. Until Jiraiya suggests that Naruto can practice his Kanji during the day, as it's the only training they can do then. Then, they talk about how Sasuke's probably gay after Naruto mentions Aidou's "hickey". He also tells Naruto about Sakura's appearance. Renamon listens in for much of the conversation while she talks to Kakashi, and they even talk about Naruto.
In the Sun Room, Jiraiya is surprised to find Kakashi's now at the institute as well. He updates Kakashi on Landel's, then accidentally reveals he likes Renamon by how he reacts to the sight of her. Then ruins it further by telling Kakashi that Renamon can hear them. Jiraiya gets Kakashi to shut up by promising to let Kakashi beta-read his novels.
Jiraiya is busy doing stuff by himself for Lunch and the next activity shift, and either doesn't meet his roommate or is a horrible one at dinner.
Nightshift 37
Jiraiya once again leaves his room with is own clothes, and waits for Naruto, but the boy never shows. fearing the worst, Jiraiya looks for him, only to discover Kakashi, Sakura, and Sasuke heading for the stairwell.
He reveals himself, followed by Kakashi revealing himself to his former students. By then, everyone has come to the conclusion that Naruto has been taken and must be rescued.
Sasuke gives orders outside the Disciplinary Therapy Corridor, which Jiraiya mostly ignore. They find Naruto being very asocial to the two people attempting to help him, and he ends up clinging to Jiraiya. Spiders attack, and Renamon joins to help fight them with Sasuke and Kakashi as Sakura and Jiraiya escape with Naruto. Nightshift ends.
Dayshift 38 (Tuesday)
Jiraiya yet again meets with his student for breakfast, and manages to goad Naruto back to being more like himself. Naruto gets immensely more gleeful once he finds out that Jiraiya totally digs Renamon, eventually screaming that Jiraiya is a pervert; Renamon overhears the scream.
The first activity shift has Jiraiya meeting with Renamon as a result of writing in reply to her bulletin post; he also sees Edgeworth's post, but doesn't reply to it. Jiraiya and Renamon discuss theory for a bit, but Renamon decides to tease Jiraiya in an effort to cheer him up about what happened to Naruto. This backfires slightly, as she eventually says the wrong thing and Jiraiya gets protectively mad, and she more or less forces him to reveal that he likes her. Renamon has a lot to think about--as does Jiraiya--so they each part their ways.
Deciding to distract himself from his thoughts, Jiraiya sits down with Elena, and they begin to discuss what it feels like for those who weren't human before; Elena hopes that Jiraiya isn't a pervert. Jiraiya also suggests that she could spend the night copying the monster descriptions and maps; MUN makes a mental note for him to propose people without fighting abilities to do this next nightshift and ask why this copying isn't already standard practice in a morning bulletin post. Kakashi thinks that Jiraiya should be very careful with whom he speaks with, lest Renamon finds out.[backthreading]
For fourth shift, Jiraiya is taken to his doctor's office, his doctor being none other than Gregory House. Mun expects much lulz will ensue. [backthreading]
