There was no one in the hallway at all when Toboe turned the corner, slowing from his run for a brief moment to look around. No, there really was no one there...they probably were still getting ready for the night.
He walked toward the next hallway down, peeking to see the number at the end of the hallway. That was 20, he thought...It would be one more down then, wouldn't it? This reading thing wasn't that hard...
"Well, here goes..." He took off down the second hallway.
