Phew!
Who would have thought walking along a coast track for 2 days could make us so tired... beautiful blue skys and glimpse of pure green/blue seas... its a tough job but someone has to do it ya know!!
Did the first section of the Abel Tasman Great Walk monday and today, which was really nice, though sad that we can't carry on and finish the full 56km trek, instead we turned around and came back, making it a total 24km walk, which was enough, but still would have been nice.
We met a kiwi! and i don't mean a slightly hairy guy who walks around in bare feet, an actually bird!! We passed it on the side of the road as it waddled over to the curb, it was so surreal, but it was def a kiwi... so thats a fabulous thing to be able to tick off the list of things we;ve seen!
Met Aunty Marie the other day, which was lovely, a random family member who has lived in NZ all her live, going to Cousin Toni's tomorrow, so that will be nice, Bex's family just coming out of ther woodwork whilst we're here :)
