I imagine that they are talking about the new baby across the road and the updates on Guss and his weekly ambulance visits.
Maybe they are swaping ideas for thier gardens and walkways too.
Maybe some home renovation projects are thrown into the mix.
They seem pretty content.
I sit back and I watch them and I know secretly they are all trying to out do each other.
And every bit of information they share is going to be used against each other.
If Bonnie has this idea for her gardern, then nice couple across the street will think of something better.
They all put on a facade for each other but deep inside behind the masks there are crazy jealousies brewing and they all want to be better then the other.
Secret hatreds fuel the fire to improve every little detail of themselves.
Its the same on each street, in each nieghborhood.
Its a fun battle to watch.
I on the other han do not care.
I do not want to be better then any of them.
I dont care what thier opinions are or if they secretly envy me too.
I simply want to have my garden and my house look the way I want it.
I want papito and I to fix everything up and be happy with everything in the end.
I will not dip my toes into this silly contest, not even to just test it out.
The currents are deep and you'll get sucked up quick.
Its something Id like to avoid.
