Hi all, this is my first post to this community. I'm a huge TOKIO fan from a few years back and I'm glad to see that they have their own community on LJ! They don't seem to be as popular as the other guys in Johnny's sadly (online at least, they're very well accepted in Japan :D

Welcome! Concert reports are most definitely welcome (and thank you for LJ cutting as well). Good to hear it was a good one. I went to one in Nagoya and from what I've seen of the earlier TOKIO concerts, this one was so much better. Like you said, the lack of the Johnny-ness of it was delicious. My friend is going to flip when she hears they played Jibun no Tame ni in Osaka, she loves that song.

The pamphlet is fantastic. It's packed with lots of things about their thoughts on TOKIO and made me smile as I read it. Enjoy!

They didn't sing that at Nagoya? @_@ Weird! Sometimes they do change setlists and such in the middle of a tour. Okay, I'm glad my report's okay to post, I don't know many TOKIO fans so that's why I joined this community!

For the Nagoya encore they sang Jumbo. I think the encore changes for each show because they came out and Nagase asked what everyone wanted to hear. And someone in the audience screamed out Jumbo and it happened. (^_^)

Dammit, some day I swear I will see a real live TOKIO concert!! >< I miss them every year cuz of the timing (can only see them in Countdown Con) but I've loved them for ages, too! After KK and V6 they made up my 3rd fave group. (I was a J-Friends whore, LOL!) Everyone always say that they're impressed with TOKIO live, more than expected usually. I'd heard they play Symphonic and that is one of my fave songs off 5AHEAD along with Message, so I'd love to have heard that full string. (Sad they didn't play Message though as I can never ever be sick of that song, or PV!). If my Japanese was better I think I'd enjoy the MCs more, obviously. But I do enjoy the rambling chatter and pick out some of what they say. Oddly, for the KK, I find I understand a lot more when the official DVD comes out rather then when I'm there at the show itself. Go figure

The timing for them is really hard. :\ I missed them last year by a month and I was so crushed, I didn't get over it until last night! Arashi's probably my favorite group but TOKIO's really close behind (and I really like V6 as well). I tend to understand more in person for some odd reason although having it on DVD is nice because then I can rewatch it if there's something I don't understand. I think when I'm there in person, I'm much more focused on what's going on. Sometimes when I watch DVDs, I get really distracted. ^_^;;

I hope TOKIO never breaks up! They seem to get along really well so I wouldn't be surprised if they always stick around. I hope you get to go someday!

Ohh, that's when the penlight was introduced? I have the V6 one, it's pretty nifty although I can only bring it to V6 concerts, lol. I really like my star penlight so I don't think I'll be replacing it. Maybe I'll like the next penlight more (whenever it comes out).

Yes, lol. I LOVE "jibun no tame ni" so I was really happy. It's one of my favorite TOKIO singles (up there with Message, Kanpai!!, and glider). ^_^
