New Taichi TV show! Major TV Network Domination

Taichi's going to have a new TV show on TV Tokyo with Kentaro-san called [Taichi x Kentaro Danshi Gohan] (男子(danshi)=boys, ごはん(gohan)=food). It's going to be a talk/cooking show on Sunday's at 11:25am starting April 20th. Kentaro appeared in TAHICHI (which I'm sure the members of this comm are very familiar with now) and they discussed how it would be cool if they could turn what they did into a TV show. And they did. They get along really well. Kentaro said that Taichi's totally not pretentious and would just show up in shorts (like he did for this press conference) and he wished Taichi would have told him and he would have worn shorts too. When asked what kind of brunch he would make for a girlfriend he said he'd like to be able to make a good curry after the disaster that was his curry on AiAp. Right now he's best dish is Chicken Ramen. Kentaro said he'd like french toast made for him and he would like to make omlettes.

With this show Taichi now has regular TV shows on all major TV networks. (Kaitai Shin Show and The Shonen Club Premium (NHK); MentoreG (Fuji); The Tetsuwan DASH and Guruguru Ninety Nine (semi-regular) (NTV); Aura no Izumi (TV Asahi); R30 (TBS); Taichi x Kentaro Danshi Gohan (TV Tokyo)) Taichi says he's really happy but that the important thing is to keep the shows going and he'll do his best. Personal thoughts: I bounced around the room in happiness. This is fantastic news. Not only is Taichi literally on every major TV network and all over the weekend (if the schedule works out just right: Friday: Gurunai@9 and R30@0:40; Saturday: Aura no Izumi@8 and Kaitai Shin Show@10:00; Sunday: Taichi x Kentaro Danshi Gohan@11:25am, The Shonen Club Premium@6, DASH@6:55, Mentore@9), but he really did have a good time talking to Kentaro-san while making this TAHICHI-style Chige-nabe and I was thinking it would be cool if Taichi and Kentaro could have a show together on TV Tokyo and that way Taichi would be on every network and it actually happened. Another example of it being worth it to open your mouth; nothing to lose, everything to gain.

tv, taichi
