After her encounter with Mr. Scott, Alyson decided to get a better look at the engine room and figure out where everything was before her shift to avoid getting yelled at again. She had to admit, she was sort of taken aback by how serious everyone was being. Sure, there was work to be done. She understood that, she was a very attentive worker, but she didn't understand why they weren't allowed to work AND have fun. She wasn't about to ask, though.
As she gave herself a little tour of the engine room, she walked through a door that had no label to find it was the dilithium chamber room. Smiling, she waved at the pair of blue-shirts working.
"Hey there," she said confidently. Aly was always up for meeting new people.
