Trapped
Who: Elizabeth Dehner and whoever finds her
What: Liz is trapped in a collapsed hall, pinned underneath a bulkhead. Someone is bound to find her eventually, right?
Where: Somewhere she wasn't supposed to be wandering... again.
She had been zoning out completely, wandering with her PADD in hand and not even bothering to look where she was going. She hadn't run into anyone yet, so she figured that was a good sign. She'd been getting caught up on notes, and as per usual, she was wandering around the ship with her nose buried in her work. She often got herself lost and this time, she looked up and had no idea where she was. There wasn't anyone around and she laughed at herself.
Then, there was a rumble from above her and another and before she knew what was happening, she dropped her PADD and backed herself up against the wall. There was a sudden deafening sound of something breaking apart and the she literally watched the bulkheads start to crumple like old paper. In less time than it took to think, they broke apart, a massive shake and Elizabeth dropped to the floor. Something hit her head and she tried to cover it, but she was out.
She woke up, probably moments later, to pitch blackness. She tried to get her bearings, but nothing was around her... no, that wasn't right. Everything was around her. She was shoved up against the wall, her arm pinned behind her, her leg twisted. When she tried to move, she was stuck, a electrifying pain running up her leg into her hip. She screamed in pain, but had nowhere to go. Her PADD was gone and very quickly, Liz resigned herself to the fact that she would die, in the dark, trapped beneath a crumbled hall because no one knew where to look for her.
