Mom to a 1st grader.

Boy, I can't even believe it. I'm a mother to a first grader. Where has the time gone. Tony is so excited. After his last day of school, he came home to tell me that because now that he's going into first grade, all his clothes and shoes are too small. It was cute. A few weeks back at school, he had a music concert. It was so adorable to see all the kindergardner's up there singing their little hearts out. He's ready for summer break, but give him a couple weeks and he'll be asking me if he has school yet.

Tyler is just Tyler. Still getting into all kinds of trouble. Still trying to get him to talk more. He did go poop and pee on the potty last week, but hasn't since then. No worries though. When he's ready he'll do it.

I'm just working and trying to keep myself sane. Todd has been in Missouri on work since 5-22. He did come home Memorial Day weekend, but It's going on four weeks since we last seen him. I give all single parents of kids major kuddos, because let me tell you, I don't know how long I could do this for. I talking, even the simplest things, like running to the corner store for milk, is a chore. It was nice when Todd was here to just say "Hey I'm running to the store be right back" and leave the kids with him. Now what would normally take 5 minutes to do, takes 20 with kids in tow. Todd should be back this Saturday. It will be nice. He was gone for his birthday ( 6/4 ), my birthday (6/18) and fathers day. So well probably just lump it into one and go out a do something.

Speaking of my birthday, I can't believe I'm 28. I don't feel 28, but then there's other times where I feel beyond 28. Oh well, according to my brother, once I hit 30, my life is over. He's 22 and a big partier.

Well that's all for now. Have to finish getting ready for work and get the kids up and ready to go for the day.
