Friday night we went back to New Asia Bar - and it was high time i got out of the apartment/SMU library. The bar is located on the 70th floor of the Swisshotel here and since this is the rainy season there was a kick ass storm going on outside. This last friday was perhaps my favorite day here so far. At one pm all of the exchanged students headed to the Tiger Beer Brewery where we took a tour. and by tour i mean we saw the big beer making machines and were then escorted to the tavern. though i dont love drinking beer, they had a yummy beer champagne mix that they were promoting and it ( Read more... )

I got back from my trip to hong kong a couple days ago. It was amazing and very much needed. It felt like i held hands with my parents for four days straight. I have reeeeeeeeally missed them and it's made me super homesick. Being sans laptop and long distance calling abilities (hopefully fixed soon) for nine weeks has been hard. So I arrived in Singapore! I've been here a few days, but I just now got internet. I love it here. I have a little crowd of three austrians and a dreamy italian and tonight we are going out with like sixty other kids we met at orientation today. It's exciting and overwhelming all at once.
