I am curious as to why people feel that when, in discussion with one another, rather than empathize with another's misfortunes/problems, they would rather try and compete in the sense of attempting to have it worse off...This type of mentality is what creates such a negative outlook in so many aspects all of the time ( Read more... )

yes - what people need to do is actually listen rather than compare and contrast with their own real life experience. just listening to someone says so much without really saying anything, ya know?

dude - looks like you're in a perpetual trial by fire. the flames will die down, you'll surely pass - you gots people in your corner for this fight, brah. no one's throwing in the towel. NO ONE... NOW GET OUT THERE CUZ MICKEY LOVES YA. and when i say "Mickey," i mean "me." and when i say "me" i REALLY mean SantyGranny.

haha I know brah man...and I appreciate it thoroughly, and know that the reverse is also true, and that I've got your back (even though I would not be of much help in a fight situation, considering I truly am a pansy ass)...

hope all is well, and yeah, it will get better eventually... I have to will it to do so...

don;t have to fight with me - just be in my corner, see what i mean? it's your fight to fight. all your friends can do is help by giving you pointers. but you know me - i'm that crazy coach that'll run out in the ring and beat the other boxer down with a bat for ya. heck yes.

sorry - getting lost in the metaphor. =D

life's a bitch ain't it? This entry made me feel a various set of emotions, all at the same time (maybe its the fact I am a woman...no just kidding. that was a sad attempt for a joke) and I'm not exactly sure how to express them in this comment, nor do I feel that they should be expressed to anyone but you, because I feel that you deserve to hear them directly from me, and not from a post on the internet ( ... )

There is no such thing as "worse off". Everyone has their own issues and when you average them all they even out. Plus, you can't base life on how u feel all the time, sometimes u have to take each day as it comes to you.. that's how you obtain your feeling anyhow, now isn't it? so... thaz my lil' opinion on the topic. well, lyl, have a g'mornin (3:03am), Ronit
ps- *pokes ya*
