Today, codobo and I ended up going to McDonald's (don't judge us), because we had a coupon for buy-1-get-1-free on chicken nuggets. Which is to say, we ended up with 40 nuggets for $5. 40 nuggets is a LOT of nuggets, and luckily we had Kekoa there with us to help us out. Of course, she had had to eat her ice cream cone first, so was a little full by the time the nuggets came around. In the end, she left one in her seat and took a breather. Then, of course, she remember her duty, and picked it up with the air of "okay, now I gotta bury this." Except, of course, there's no good place to bury if you're strapped into your throne car seat. So, she did the next best thing and went back to enjoying the ride.
In the evening, codobo and I went to the city, sans Kekoa, to meet an old friend from high school and her family. They're on their first trip to the US, and boy, are they making the most of it! It was great to see her and meet her family! :D
