blargh, burning out on this fic after like only two paragraphs in so going to post the first couple so I feel inspired to write more.
pairing liam/zayn
rating: R-ish? Idk apparently I can't have relationships without sex anymore
summary: Zayn is in love with Liam.
It’s not that Liam doesn’t notice it, because he does, it’s more that he puts it into that part of his brain where secret, private things go. There he’s got his first kiss with Danielle, coming home to his mother the first time he got kicked off of the X-Factor, when he stole a tenner from his Dad and his Dad was disappointed the next day, and now that Zayn’s in love with him. In a way it’s different from all the rest, Liam isn’t tucking it away to protect himself, but to keep Zayn safe, because Liam thinks that he couldn’t be hurt by it too much because he doesn’t love Zayn the same way Zayn loves him.
So, it’s not that Liam doesn’t notice it, but he figures that if he can protect it for Zayn, keep it from the forefront of his mind and nearer to his heart, then it won’t be a problem and then can continue on in the band like they always have.
It becomes a problem.
