Productivity in the Midst of Misery

Well, I spent most of the day at Vera’s Café yesterday. It was there last day and I just couldn’t bring myself to leave. As a result I spent about five hours writing. I started writing my “Memoir” last week and yesterday I revised chapter one (in light of discussions with my sister, Judye), cleaned up chapter two, finished chapter three and started chapter four! A pretty productive day, I would say!

Chapter One covers what I know about my family before I was born. Two covers the first five years of my life. Chapter Three covers the next three years to 1956. This is a long chapter because a lot happened. I am amazed at how much detail I remember from these early years. Some people I have talked to about early memories claim they remember little before the age of twelve! My actual memories go back to the age of three. Lucky me! LOL!

Today I am off to see the CPAP guy about getting new supplies. They make this so complicated. I just need some new nose pillows! For this I have to drive all the way over to the western suburbs of the Twin Cities. Oh well, maybe I will see the sun over there!
