The Muses Run Wild...

Aug 07, 2007 11:18

I feel the urge to drop another note in my journal, to first apologize in advance for the fic-spamage that has and will come down the pike, and, second, to remind you that I won't be upset if you decide to wait until I finish a story to read it or comment on it.

One of the aftereffects of spending so many months on one fic (Pas de Deux) is that ( Read more... )

This is great news, Theresa! :)

And I'm glad you're not mad at people like me who haven't even started reading "Pas de Deux" yet. *sigh*

I know that when I'm in the midst of a very long fic, I tend to mix things up by writing short fics so that I can get that finished/satisfied feeling, too.

I'll be interested in seeing the re-write of "A Certain Thought That Lingers". That's definitely a fave of mine.

As always, thanks for the great work you do over at the S/B Archive. I've been having a lot of fun perusing what's new over there.

El! I forgot -- I wanted to mention that I'm about to add you back to my f-list, not because I'm just a total flake (though I am, LOL) but because the LJ notification thing doesn't work reliably at all, so my grand scheme for avoiding Bruce/Dick is simply not viable. LOL So, I'm just going to have to learn to get along with the couple of people on my f-list that write this pairing but also write a lot of Bruce/Clark. I can't be missing Bruce/Clark fic just because I have a neurosis, LOL, and I didn't even *know* that you posted more RF -- because the notification never came. So! If you see me back around, that's why ( ... )

Excellent! Glad to have you back! :)

LJ and their notifications! Yeesh!

Yes, the recent "RF" postings have been only on my journal as I've gotten into the habit of using one post with links to multiple chapters for the comms when my fic is very long, so that's why batfic and worlds_finest haven't seen any postings from me yet. I'll probably post in groups of four or five.

I've been trying to work on the archive in between writing. It's coming along nicely, especially since wonderful people like yourself support it so consistently.

*blushes* Always love to support the S/B arts! ;)

To me, your posting very often can't be but great news. It's a treat for your readers and a way for others to discover your writing. It's all positive!

You do so many projects I don't know how you sruvive this!? I guess you're just awesome like that huh?

And I like the fact that you'll be writing in your own time and doing whatever you want that way you won't get writing exhaustion or whatever it is that writers get when they write too much.
